The Texarkana College Choir joins with area guest choirs to present a selection of seasonal songs on Friday, Dec. 5., at 7:30 p.m.

The evening’s musical entertainment will be presented on campus at the Truman Arnold Student Center Great Room, where choirs from Texas High School, Liberty-Eylau High School, Arkansas High School and Liberty-Eylau Middle School will join the collegian singers.

“We’ve been doing this for quite a long time,” said Celia Richardson, choir director at TC. The area’s high school competition choirs are invited.

Each choir will present two selections, along with a 20-minute combined program at the end. About 150 students will be on the stage together.

Mary Scott Goode will be the accompanist on piano, and she will be joined by one of her top students.

Tickets are $5 and advance reservations are not required. A professionally-produced CD of the “Yulefeste” choirs will also be available for $5. Admission helps to support the TC Choral Scholarship Fund.
