C. Wayne and Sheila Hackett of Hooks, Texas, and Jerry Prater of Ashdown, Ark., announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Annette Hackett Plunk, to David Wyeth Grigg, the son of Duel and Mary Grigg of Avery, Texas. Miss Plunk is also the daughter of the late Mae Prater.

Miss Plunk is a graduate of Texas High School. She is employed with Workforce Solutions Childcare Services.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Avery High School. He is employed with Red River Army Depot.

The wedding will be 4 p.m. April 18 at Riverview Cabins, Oden, Ark.
