The City of Texarkana, Ark., will host Sparks in the Park from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Four States Fairgrounds. Music headliner is Hazy Jayne.

Red River Army Depot hosts the 2009 Army Soldier Show July 7 at the Four States Fairground Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m. The free show is open to the public, no ticket required.

Caddo Lake State Park and Wildlife Management Area will commemorate the park’s opening 75 years ago on Saturday.
