Rosanne Cash headlining fundraiser for father's boyhood home

LITTLE ROCK-Singer and songwriter Rosanne Cash is headlining a performance at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion to raise money for her father's restored boyhood home.

Arkansas State University announced Thursday it's hosting the event with Gov. Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson on March 3, with proceeds going to the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home in Dyess.

The event will include a reception and photo opportunity, followed by "Memories, Music, and More," where Rosanne Cash will reflect on the restoration of her father's home and music inspired by her reconnection with the South. Tickets are $150 per person, with $1,000 and $2,500 sponsorships also available.

The Johnny Cash Boyhood Home opened in 2014, along with exhibits in the Historic Dyess Colony Administration Building.
