BLYTHEVILLE, Ark-Police say a Blytheville woman has died at a Memphis, Tenn., hospital after she was set on fire by her ex-boyfriend.
Police Capt. Scott Adams said 37-year-old Martha George died Friday and her body will be sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
Police previously said George was found Sunday sitting in the shower of her home with burns to her body.
George told officers that her ex-boyfriend had poured gasoline on her and set her on fire. The man was later arrested on initial charges of attempted murder, first-degree domestic battery and violation of a no-contact order.
