BATESVILLE, Ark.-Authorities say a worker was killed when a piece of heavy equipment fell on top of him in Batesville.
Independence County Coroner Wesley Gay says the accident happened Monday at a quarry along Arkansas 25. Billy Cude, 62, died when a piece of equipment used to move rocks fell on him and pinned him underneath, Gay said. Cude was pronounced dead at the scene.
