Nevada County woman, 42, killed in hit-and-run

ROSSTON, Ark.- Arkansas State Police investigators are seeking information in a Tuesday night hit-and-run accident that left a Nevada County woman dead.

Crystal Davis, 42, of Rosston, Ark., died after she was apparently struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the crash scene. State troopers responded to a location along Arkansas Highway 200, two miles east of Rosston, about 10:45 Tuesday night to begin their investigation.

Special agents of the state police criminal investigation division and troopers assigned to the highway patrol division are working together to investigate the crash and identify a possible suspect vehicle and driver.

Davis' body has been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine a
cause of death and remove any forensic evidence.
