Doctor facing additional charges in sex crimes

CONWAY, Ark.-An Arkansas doctor accused of sexually assaulting female patients now faces an amended list of charges.

Dr. Robert Rook had pleaded not guilty in July to three counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault, but list of charges was amended on Monday.

Rook faces nine counts of rape, 11 counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree sexual assault involving 13 women.

A judge also set a hearing on a motion to suppress some evidence for Dec. 2.

The Arkansas State Medical Board temporarily suspended Rook's medical license in June. He was reinstated in August on the condition that he is accompanied by a chaperone when he sees patients.
