Fouke fields candidates for city office in November

The Citizens for a Better Community provided a political venue Monday at the Stanley Davis Community Center in Fouke with campaign pledges, homemade food and fellowship during a candidate's night for Fouke City Council and the mayor's office.

Fouke has several candidates running for the city offices, including five who have filed for mayor.

All the candidates urged residents to vote in the Nov. 6 election. The major slogan used by the candidates was "faith, family and friends."
