Environmental board conducts public hearing
The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality conducted a public hearing May 15th for Ash Grove Cement Company and announced a 20-day extension to the deadline comment period of the Remedial Action Decision Documents.
The new deadline date is June 19, 2008. The ADEQ Hazardous Waste division received a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Facility Investigation (RFI) report from Ash Grove on October 29, 2004, revised in April 2005 and April 28, 2006.
