The Texarkana Industrial Index tracks performance of publicly traded industrial companies with operations in the Texarkana Area. The index is calculated using market capitalization (current stock price times number of outstanding shares of stock) and number of employees in Texarkana. The index includes Alcoa, American Electric Power (SWEPCO), Centerpoint Energy, Cooper Tire and Rubber, Domtar Corp., Flowers Foods Inc., and International Paper.
