•  Arkansas soybean producers can try for a chance at $50,000. “The Race for 100” contest will land the first Arkansas soybean producer to reach 100 bushels per acre the prize money. Contestants are urged to turn in entry forms before the Aug. 1 deadline. In the event of more than one winner, the $50,000 prize will be evenly divided. The harvested area of 5 to 7 acres must have been planted in soybeans in at least one of the last three production years before 2009. Contestants must have paid the appropriate check-off assessments on soybeans.
