It appears Louisiana Tech baseball coach Wade Simoneaux struck it rich the last few years during recruiting trips to the Texakana area.

His most recent success occurred when Atlanta’s Clint Stubbs transferred to Ruston from the University of Texas, where he saw limited playing time as a freshman.
