Texas and Arkansas have released their dove and teal season dates for 2008.

Both states have identical teal season dates planned—Sept. 13-28. The limit in both states is four teal per day.

However, there are two important differences for Arkansas hunters. First, Arkansas is still under the spinning-wing decoy ban. There is a move afoot, with the final hearing on Aug. 21, to change this, so stay tuned. Second, teal hunters cannot begin hunting until sunrise, so be careful.
