A labor of love needs doing

A couple of weeks ago, I ran into Ed and Dr. Shirley Finn. They, Mary McQueen and her now-deceased parents were in the vanguard of maintenance of the African-American cemetery within Stateline Cemetery for years and years.

I told the Finns I believed I could rustle up some youngsters from a couple of church youth groups for a cemetery cleanup when the weather gets a little more tolerable, if they knew some adults who could help supervise and operate the power tools.
