A man in Florida whose attempt to tithe from the $6 million he won in the lottery was rebuffed by his own church need not worry about finding someone who will do some good with the money.

The lucky lottery winner wanted to give his church $600,000 from the proceeds of his winnings. But his particular denomination does not believe in gambling, so the leadership of the church declined the gift.

The church’s decision has been criticized by those who say it could have done a lot of good for the needy with such a sizable gift.
