Ideas for songs come from most unusual places and according to Hank Cochran, the 1960’s hit, “Make The World Go Away” came from a watching a movie.

Hank commented, “This was back before I was married and I was in a movie theater downtown with this lady. And while we were watching the movie, I got the idea for that song. And I don’t even remember the movie ... the title or who was in it.
