If you’re like me with no dog in the fight, Major League Baseball’s two championship series that began last night in Philadelphia and resumes tonight in Tampa are of very little consequence in the pecking order of weekend sports viewing.

There are plenty of other events that likely take priority with most of us, starting with tonight’s menu of high school football. Then there’s Texas-OU and the rest of college football that clogs every major television channel on Saturday, and the Cowboys-Cardinals and other NFL matchups made available to us on Sunday and Monday.
