Finalists make history at recent U.S. Women’s Open

In case you weren’t watching, bowling history was made at the 2008 U.S. Women’s Open in Romeoville, Ill.

Kim Terrell-Kearney of Dover, Del., rolled a 216 to defeate Trisha Reid of Columbus, Ohio, who shot 189 in the United States Bowling Congress event. What made the finals so unique was similar to Super Bowl XLI.
