Terrell Owens is a distraction, and he certainly must be stretching the truth when he claims to have no idea where ESPN writer Ed Werner got his information last week concerning a rift with Cowboys teammates Tony Romo and Jason Witten.

The media was unmerciful Sunday night after Dallas beat the New York Giants at Texas Stadium, quizzing Owens repeatedly about nearly coming to blows with Witten at practice and complaining about “his quarterback” secretly working with the Cowboys’ tight end on pass plays.
