STAMPS, Ark.—Louisa S. Burks, 94, of Bradley, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in a Springhill, La. hospital.

Mrs. Burks was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Lee County, Ky. She was a clerical secretary, a member of Ruth Sunday School Class, Bradley B and P.W. Phoenix Club, Lafayette County Home Demonstration Club and a judge for Lafayette County spelling bees.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Bell Burks; one nephew, Jess McIntosh; one great-niece, Melanie Boyd; one great-nephew, Adam Boyd; and a number of other relatives.
