DE QUEEN, Ark.—Dorothy Louise Fredrick Barker, 74, of Kirby, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital.

Mrs. Barker was born April 29, 1933, in Oblong, Ill. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one son, George Henry Ballew; and one granddaughter, Melissa Ann Ballew.

Survivors include one brother, Billy Fredrick of Illinois; three sisters, Jennie of Illinois, Virginia of Indiana and Barbara Thompson of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
