DE QUEEN, Ark.—Floyd E. Walker, 79, of De Queen died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Walker was born Oct. 31, 1928, in De Queen. He was a retired Sevier County tax assessor, a member of First Christian Church, VFW and Sweet Home Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Jean Walker; and one son, Ricky Allen Walker.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Floy Jean and Joe Driscoll of Ocean City, N.J., and Melinda K. and Scott Bryles of Whitehall, Ark.; his father, Earl Mangold of De Queen...
