STAMPS, Ark.—Velma E. Plumley, 89, of Stamps died Monday, March 3, 2008, in a Texarkana, Ark., health and rehab center.

Mrs. Plumley was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Nevada County, Ark. She was a homemaker, a retired farmer and a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Plumley.

Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Clark of Leander, Texas; two sisters, Charlene Beck of Arlington, Texas, and Pauline Jinn of Mexico; one special friend, Debbie Barton; and a number of other relatives.
