John David Bennett, 57, of Wake Village, Texas, died Monday, March 3, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Bennett was born Jan. 9, 1951, in Paris, Texas. He was former president of Texarkana Pool League, a former member of Texarkana Racing Associa-tion and a Marine Corps veteran.
