Marjorie Louise Mitchell, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, March 3, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Mitchell was born July 12, 1922, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a retired waitress and a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Mitchell; one son, Billy Don Thompson; and two daughters, Brenda Joyce Thompson and Wanda Sue Thompson.
