JOHN LEWIS

John H. Lewis, 89, of Texarkana died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Mount Holly, Ark. He was retired from the Navy and a member of DAV, Shriners, Masons, AGOM and Beech Street First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lulu Whiting Lewis of Texarkana; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty Jean and David Fowler and Michelle Revé Davis of Texarkana, Wanda Faye Lewis of Irving, Texas, and Johnie Mae and Richard Rhoades of Pearland, Texas; one sister, Charlotte Lewis of Mount Holly; six gra...
