STAMPS, Ark.—Alice Marie “Mamaw Jo” Sparrow, 86, of Stamps died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Sparrow was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Columbia County, Ark. She was retired from Stamps Public Schools cafeteria, a former aide with Homestead Manor Nursing Home and a Methodist.
