HOPE, Ark.—Clifford William “Cliff” Mavis, 39, of Prescott, Ark., died Saturday, March 1, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Mavis was born July 1, 1968, in Reed City, Mich. He was employed with the Tyson maintenance department and a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Henry Mavis.

Survivors include his wife, Cimarron Mavis of Prescott; two sons, Damein Logan Mavis and Donavan Xaivier Mavis of Prescott; his mother, Joyce E. Mavis of Michigan; and four sisters, Johanna Mavis of San Antonio, Katy Mavis and Susie Mavis of Michigan and Peggy Mavis of Flor...
