Lena Sangalli Bonner, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in an Ashdown, Ark., hospital.

Mrs. Bonner was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from S.H. Kress and Howard’s Department Store, a volunteer with Wadley Hospital and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three husbands, David Lee Bonner, William Bryant Bonner and Lewis Walls; and four children, Lena Faye Matthews, Deloris Carol Bonner, Travis Lee Bonner and Tildon Eddie Bonner.
