Nelcene Mae Morrison Steele, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Steele was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Allen, Okla. She was retired from Clear Creek Independent School District and a member of Belt Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin P. Steele.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary O. Steele of League City, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David L. and Sheri Steele of Texarkana and Robert E. and Mary Steele of El Lago, Texas; one sister, Jolene Aldridge of Dallas; one brother, James K....
