ELIJAH HARRIS

Elijah Harris, 59, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Harris was born Dec. 16, 1948, in Rutherford, N.C. He was a carpenter and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Harris of Texarkana; three daughters, Gearldine Montonya and Bonnie Harris of Texarkana and Hester Tate of New Boston, Texas; two sons, William Watson of Rutherfordton, N.C., and Clyde Harris of Texarkana; three brothers, Junior Harris, Bobby Harris and Eddie Harris of Rutherfordton; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
