Lessie Stinson Shipp, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Shipp was born May 3, 1922, in New Boston, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by two husbands; one son, Jerry Stinson; and one daughter, Marie Shoen.
