SHERMAN WESTMORELAND

STAMPS, Ark.—Sherman Westmoreland, 92, of Doddridge, Ark., died Friday, March 7, 2008, in a Texarkana nursing home.

Mr. Westmoreland was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Doddridge. He was a retired laborer with the County Road Department and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Teena Westmoreland of Doddridge; one grandson, Westly Westmoreland of Doddridge; one niece and spouse, Patricia and Dan Barnes of Doddridge; and one nephew, Don Westmoreland of Bloomburg, Texas.
