Bernard Russell Teeter, 81, of Wake Village, Texas, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Teeter was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Litchfield, Neb. He was a farmer, a member of First Church of the Nazarene and a past member of Gideons International.

Survivors include his wife, Lorene Teeter of Wake Village; one son, Gerald Teeter of Liberal, Kan.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Russell Davis of Texarkana and Melody and Joe Elliott of Wake Village; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
