MARY SCOTT

Mary M. Scott, 96, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Scott was born June 7, 1911, in New Boston, Texas. She was a member of Ruth Circle and choir of Union Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Scott; and two children, Morris E. Scott and Betty J. Griffin.

Survivors include two sons, James F. Scott of Victorville, Calif., and Jimmie D. Scott of Texarkana; one daughter, Janice M. McAlister of Lancaster, Texas; three sisters, Emily Owen and Mable Kelly of Spencer, Okla....
