ROBERT MATTHIS

Robert J. Matthis, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Matthis was born Dec. 4, 1920, in Jefferson, Texas. He was a retired teacher with Liberty-Eylau ISD, a retired chemist with Red River Army Depot, a member of Wiley College Club and New Hope Baptist Church and a World War II Army Air Force veteran.
