HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Joe Riggins, 80, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Riggins was born March 13, 1928, in Cornett Community, Texas. He was a Baptist preacher. He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Gene; and one great-granddaughter, Macie Nicole Dunbar.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda of Daingerfield; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Billy Riggins of Daingerfield, Larry and Betty Riggins of Troup, Texas, and Tim and Lesia Riggins of Mapleton, Texas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a n...
