JEFFERSON, Texas—Mildred Jewel Durden, 91, of Jefferson died Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

Mrs. Durden was born March 12, 1917. She was a retired teacher and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by one son.

Services will be 11 a.m. today at St. Paul Methodist Church with the Revs. George Johnson and Ray C. Walker Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.
