SYBIL TIDWELL

DEKALB, Texas—Sybil Rae Gaither Tidwell, 82, of DeKalb died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Tidwell was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Crossett, Ark. She was a retired motel manager, homemaker, member of New Boston Bowling League, Order of the Easter Star and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Scotty and Maria Tidwell of DeKalb; two stepgrandchildren, Shawnda Bentley of Virginia Beach, Va., and Susanne Miller of Nash, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
