DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Patrick “Pat” Wayne Carter, 57, of Linden, Texas, died Friday, March 14, 2008, in Gilmer, Texas.

Mr. Carter was born Feb. 27, 1951, in Atlanta, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Linden.

Survivors include three brothers, Marvin Michael “Mike” Carter of Daingerfield, Bryce Elvin Carter of Linden and Clyde Bufford Boilding of Stanton, Ore.; and three sisters, Martha Ann Clifton of Gilmer, Barbara Sue Ward of Linden and Billie Jean Morgan of Hughes Springs, Texas.
