H.L. Brandon, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, March 15, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Brandon was born July 3, 1927, in Little Rock. He was retired from the Texarkana, Texas Fire Department and Kansas City Southern Railroad, a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Cigainero Brandon.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Lajuana Fitzgerald and Roger Cooper and Lanita and Ray Cooper of Texarkana, and Lisa and Scott Pooree of Springdale, Ark.; and four grandchildren, Christopher Brandon of Sedro-Woolley, Was...
