DE QUEEN, Ark.—Harold E. Yates, 58, of De Queen died Sunday, March 16, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Yates was born Aug. 15, 1949, in De Queen. He was a service manager at De Queen Ford-Chrysler, a member of De Queen Church of Christ and a Vietnam Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Carol Ann Yates.

Survivors include his wife, LaDonna Waldon Yates of De Queen; one son, Clayton Yates of De Queen; one stepson, Brandon McMillan; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Power and Ashley McMillan of De Queen; one brother, Ronnie Turner of Lockesburg, Ark.; five step-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chandler Funeral Home with Paul Hillier officiating. Burial will be in Cane Creek Cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
