HOPE, Ark.—Jimmie Dick Welsh Hammons, 77, of Huntsville, Ala., died Sunday, March 16, 2008, in a Huntsville hospital.

Mr. Hammons was born Dec. 16, 1930, in Arkadelphia, Ark. He was a real estate broker and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Hammons of Huntsville; three sons, Jim Hammons of Spokane, Wash., Greg Hammons of Dallas and Andy Hammons of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Kathy Hammons of Dallas and Christine Hammons of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Foy Hammons of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Troy Bass of Trinidad, Texas, and J...
