MOSES GOODEN SR.

Moses Gooden Sr., 80, of New Boston, Texas, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Gooden was born July 26, 1927, in Hooks, Texas. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, New Boston. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Gooden; and one son, James Gooden Sr.

Survivors include four sons, Elbert Gooden and Moses Gooden Jr. of New Boston, Jimmy Gooden of Hooks and Earnest Gooden of Texarkana; three daughters, Nona Gooden, Frances Shepherd and Joice Gooden of New Boston; one brother, Samuel Gooden of Texarkana; one sister...
