Bobbie Wayne Hawkins, 79, of DeKalb, Texas, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Hawkins was born Jan. 25, 1929, in DeKalb, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Central Bowie County WSC, AARP Ark-Tex Chapter No. 908, Arkansas State F.O.E., Fraternal Order of Eagles, Texarkana, Ark., No. 2684, and Malta Baptist Church.
