DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Mary Ellen Abril, 76, of Omaha, Texas, died Friday, March 21, 2008, in Omaha.

Ms. Abril was born July 28, 1931, in Balfour, N.C.

Survivors include one son, Stephen Abril of Omaha; one daughter, Carol Shontere of Reseda, Calif.; one brother; one sister; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
