HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Tyree Bennet Jeffries, 87, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Hughes Springs.

Mrs. Jeffries was born in Kiblah, Ark. She was preceded in death by one son and one grandson.

Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Jeffries; two daughters, Elsie Faye Johnson of Hughes Springs and Antha Abraham of Los Angeles; one sister, Sue Bryant of Houston; two grandsons, Antonio Williams of Hughes Springs and Leknee Black of Los Angeles; three granddaughters, Pretenia Deal and Devonia Allen of Irving, Texas, and Gwendo...
