ASHDOWN, Ark.—Jimmy Carl Ford, 74, of Ashdown died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Ashdown.

Mr. Ford was born March 17, 1934, in Mena, Ark. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginna Ford, on Oct. 19, 1999.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Ken Combs of Russellville, Ark., and Joni and Bill Harvey of Vicksburg, Miss.; one brother, Otis Dale Ford of Ashdown; three sisters, Mary Grace McCandless and Jeanne Aylor of Ashdown and Linda Brown of Hope, Ark.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
