NASHVILLE, Ark. —Violet Iline Cooley Hipp, 90, of Carlisle, Texas, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in a Carlisle nursing home.

Mrs. Hipp was born June 15, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Noel Hipp.
